At harvest the Cacao beans are fermented but not roasted to develop a full flavor and texture, processed at low temperatures and then milled into a powder. The result is a powder that's has a rich, smooth and dark chocolate taste whilst having a high nutritional content.\u003cbr\u003e Cacao powder so not be confused with the similarly named Cocoa powder. This on the other hand is made from beans that are both fermented and roasted, and then processed at a much higher temperature.
