Our Antibacterial Hand Wash, Antibacterial Hand Cream and Hand Sanitiser products have been tested to British Standard BSEN1276 to show that they are certified to kill up to 99.9 per cent of harmful bacteria.

All of our Manuka Protect products are formulated with the same Genuine New Zealand Manuka honey that we also sell in jars. Which means that our honey’s natural soothing properties are included within. High-strength Manuka honey – made by bees collecting nectar from New Zealand Manuka bushes contains the active ingredient methylglyoxal (MGO), which has an antimicrobial and also anti-bacterial effect on the body.

Manuka honey has proven effective at healing wounds making medicated Manuka a key ingredient in modern day wound healing management. Manuka honey also has an osmotic effect that helps to debride and deslough wounds, it helps to reduce wound odour and maintain a moist wound healing environment.

Researchers suggest that Manuka honey can also speed up the healing process in skin because it stimulates the inflammatory response in the body, leading to the regeneration of skin cells and connective tissues. The pH level of honey is also very low, which reduces infection.
